We finally retired my Toyota Pick-Up. I love that old gal. We have had some great times. I now have a (used but new to me) 2004 Honda Pilot SUV that seats up to 8! With Aidan's stroller, pack n play, toys, highchair, etc.. we definately needed some serious trunk space and we all couldn't safely pile in the truck and the Altima just isn't cutting it. So......
We now have a truck for sale if anyone is interested. The brutally honest details:
1994 Red Toyota 4WD pickup. Approx. 150,000 miles. Asking $1,500. After-market stereo system. Will need a new head gasket (or sealant as temporary patch, maybe?), tune-up and seatbelts tightened up to run and pass inspection (approx $1,500 - $2,000 worth of work). Body is in great shape with no rust. Interior is in pretty good shape, could use a steam cleaning and a lil elbow grease on carpet/upholstry. Invested $3,000 of work into it - new steering column, brakes, tires, rotors, drums, etc - less than 2 months ago.
Mechanic says these trucks will last for a while and he could see another 100,000 miles come out of it and these trucks really hold value and last ~ Engine is in great shape, 4WD transfer case runs nice. This is a great fun offroad vehicle or would make a perfect work truck! Need a car for your teen? I have had so much fun with this vehicle, now it is someone else's turn to enjoy.
