Elements you would like to have in your gift: AU would be kind of awesome. Like maybe something based in the world of Mad Men where Blake is this up-and-coming super hot ad executive with Deeper Issues a la Don Draper and Leighton is the one who needs a new ad for her product and sparks fly. Or Blake is a pirate king and Leighton is the noblewoman and only survivor of a ship they loot and slowly, over time, becomes more than just her prisoner.
Elements you do not want in your fic: Angst, baby!fic, death, depressing things, and copious amounts of Ed Westwick.
What you would like to write: I would definitely love to try my hand at writing anything AU, since I feel like I would be somewhat intimidated by modern characterization. So yes. Anything having to do with them in an alternate universe would be a go for me.
What you do not want to write: Super angsty things, anything involving them as themselves (basically), anything where Ed Westwick makes more than, say, a surprise cameo for the lulz, anything super graphic or involving super kinky things like BDSM/watersports/noncon or dubcon/etc. But hey, things like sex toys are a go, if it's realistic.
Are you willing to do back-up writing for abandoned assignments? Probably not, since I'm committing to a bunch of other fic exchanges for the holidays.
