Sleep... tomorrow? PLEASE

I'm tired. Physically exhausted. Last weekend I didn't rest at all and have been getting 6 hours of sleep each night this week. I'm still working out too. SO... this is one tired MaMa. I don't have a damn thing to do this weekend, except sleep. THANK GOODNESS!

The mall shooting in Omaha has me twitchy. The past two days I've had to do errands at the mall and it's been creepy. Bad as it sounds... gothic white boys terrify me now. I make sure to make eye contact and smile, hoping there's some level of compassion inside just in case he's packing and ready to unload. Awful but this is the world we live in. I did some VS shopping and have a whole new set of secrets. Nice!

I hope they nail Drew Peterson. Bee thinks he's going to get off but I think they'll catch him. It's probably going to be a very long investigation but I think they'll fry him, hopefully.  I've resorted to watching faux news in the mornings now. Work is so busy I can't catch up with the local paper even so I'm getting the national basics. Iran, Russia, China, North Korea, Iraq... I tune that stuff out. But I am following the presidential primary's. I need to research Huckabee. People are telling me he's a good candidate but I don't know anything about him except he's aged well. If I had to vote today, and I'm throwing myself out there saying this, I'd go Obama. I'm all for change in our government and that's what he's preaching. Hilary scares me, Rudy I like but I don't think he's going to get the nomination... Romney I'm not paying attention to and the rest... who are they?

I'm hanging in here. I've been so busy and tired that I haven't really had time to freak out or crash and this is a good thing. Monday I see my doc (YES!!!) and I'm excited. Finally. It's been a long 10 weeks but it's also my fault it went this long. I'm now convinced that there is no way to manage bipolar without doing research. The doc visits and counseling alone aren't enough. Reading about it has helped me a lot and I still have more to read.
