Home Turkey
Well... I'm home today. For the past three to four weeks, I've been out sick once a week or every other week with Alicia. We should have got a flu shot this year. She is getting hit with every minute bug that's going around. This is her second or third cold in two months. She's not running a fever, and she's acting normal... but the runny nose, cough, and pink-eye is stay home worthy. And then there's my barking cough... which is baffling me. I'm smoking... a lot these days, but I'm also doing cardio daily. I'm thinking it's the cardio breaking up the mucus, but I'm not a Dr. and can't be sure. Bee's been so busy with work that he's lucky to have a day off during the week. So mommy it's been. I drug her out early this morning to do the Thanksgiving shopping. Yep, last minute on that as well but we're going to eat some YUMMY food tomorrow.
My appointment is tonight at 6pm. I've been nervous about it but bee said to be excited about it. It's a step towards wellness, and now I'm excited. My therapist ROCKS! I can't wait to feel better.
I was just chatting with Ro online and it was great. You know you have a true friend when the good-bye's include kisses for the baby, a "Hi" for the husband, and hello to my folks. Awesome!
It's going to be a good day. Finally!
