Oh! How about my brother's long-term girlfriend? She's kind of a sister-in-law. Can I slap her by association or should I just smack my brother for dating her?
Honestly, I think I'd have to recommend that you slap both of them... that way your brother can share in the responsibility for making you associated with her.
And thanks for the pic comment, I love your ears...
My sister's older than me, but still deserves a good brotherly slap. But does that still count in the spirit of the day? I've always defined sibling as someone in the family who's younger than me, but I'm the youngest...
That would be Glenn Ford... he comes from an age when smacking a dame was just good old fashioned keeping her in line...
SOMETHING I DO NOT CONDONE IN THE LEAST!!
Unless she's your sister. Then break out the brass knuckles...
BUT NOT SERIOUSLY!!
I am a devout feminist! I was weaned on the writings of Margaret Meade and Rosemary Radford Ruether and Starhawk! I bury myself in the sisterhood of women!!!
Does it have to be a slap? Does a closed fist count? My sister is being the ultimate "c" word and so badly needs to be included in this joyous occasion.
I believe there's a lot of loose interpretation with the word "smack" - if not just do it and tell her she can issue a grievance with the ISYS Day committee. There's paperwork, but we can have it sent to her if she providea a self-addressed stamped envelope.

Get out there and give her a slug... all sisters deserve it, as far as I'm concerned!
And hey, we are supposed to go to a movie, right? Let's do that!
