Well, i'm not exactly sure, but
it's either heart-warming or heart-stopping to sign into LJ and read 5 posts about Anna Nicole Smith. Now it will be 6.
At work today, a couple of "Masters of English" students decided to forgo writing their papers and discuss the (apparently) endless possiblities as to how Anna Nicole kicked it.
I mean really people. Sure sure sure i made a Myspace bulletin about the matter at hand, but that doesn't count. Because i'm awesome. And i start sentences with "because" and "and".
Why are we so obsessed with this celeb shit?

I've wholly embraced nerd-dom. I have become the student i never thougt i could be--i sit in the front seat, participate a whole bunch, and i do all of my homework without pulling all-nighters.
took my second Art History (Mesoamerica) midterm tonight. damn that class is easy; I got a 99% on the last test without trying too hard. Oo oo and i got the second-highest grade on my Linguistics quiz.
I have come to the conclusion that:
deciphering Mayan hieroglyphs and translating words using the IPA is fun. I want to be an epigrapher when i grow up! That, and conquer the world.

Heather is applying for Vet school this summer.
Beverly is looking into photography school and/or studying abroad in New Zeiland.
If i want to attend grad school fall '08 (if i can get in) i'd need to take the GRE this fall...
What will i do when i graduate next June?? Peace Corps? Grad school? Internships? Field School?....live in Valencia and save money?

I haven't cut my hair in a year. I haven't dyed it in six months. All i have to show for it is quasi-shoulder-length split ends. I CAN'T WAIT to do something, anything to it when i come home for my birthday later this month.
