D-day of gramps. Every year its the same. I don't know for what purpose it really serves. Maybe to bring family together, to remind us of those that are not here anymore and celebrate their life; that they existed in this lifetime. It's happy and sad. You start to think about your life, family, mistakes, regret (at least for me). And I'm about to be older too, maybe its time I learn to resolve these family problems that have been getting neglected all these years. Shameful problems. Something tells me I need too, be fore there's another regret down the road. Maybe thats what this ceremony is all about. Then again maybe not.
