"White on White"

I'm staring, literally staring, at this tree outside the seminary, leading to the properties exit. It's a giant white oak and out the window, from where I gaze, I can only see the top. Huge limbs from the trunk, darting and sprouting from every angle. White against the white sky. The tree looks cold. And if I didn't know better, or see the tiny buds starting to grow toward the ends of the branches, I'd think it was November.

It's funny how Spring can look so similar to Winter.
