So this time last year, the woman from Evan's old daycare tried to sue Elle because she said that DSHS didn't pay her enough.
Now DSHS says Elle owes THEM $1800 because they paid that woman TOO MUCH. WHAT THE BLOODY FUCKING HELL!? Make up your fucking minds you idiots.
I am going to be so fucking happy when Evan doesn't need daycare anymore and we can just pay a babysitter once in a while if we need one.
In somewhat related news: There's another guy on ebay making signs who's located about an hour south of us and calls himself "Famous Signs." Our name is "World Famous Sign Company." We're peeved and I'm going to try going through ebay to get him to change it. Don't know if it'll work or not, but fingers crossed. I'm also going to spend the next several hours today (and possibly the next week or two, depending on how fast things go) MAJORLY revamping my inventory and adding things. I figure: We get $28 for a 12x18 sign. A 12x18 sign could make *6* 3x12 signs, which go for $12 each. Which is $72. So it's *MUCH* better for us to sell the smaller signs that people like more anyway, 'cause we get a much better profit. Aluminum is getting expensive as hell right now because of the gas crisis and the fucked up economy. I'm also going to start doing decals and hopefully get a massive collection of those going, since vinyl is still relatively cheap and doesn't require any aluminum at all.
I'm starting to lose hope in the "new job" front (though I will go cruise craigslist and the state job site before I start my ebay stuff), so I need to be realistic about finding *SOME* way to get more money.
I hate a lot of things so hard right now.
