Well it looks like MWF 9-10 will be my LJ update time. This class is so boring, everything is just a review of stuff that I have already done. I hope the test are easy enough that I really dont have to pay attention at all. She also said that we can come to the 10-11 section on any day that there is no test or homework due.
Yesterday I got the possible projects for my senior design project and later today I will find out which one I am going to do. My top choice is a swing platform for a school in AISD that is for persons with physical disabilities. That problem looks pretty open ended and leaves a lot of interesting design decisions. Another one of the top choices is a skid design for Ford Motor Co. The description of that one is pretty vague, but it looks interesting enough.
My other classes (although I guess that should say class) look like they will be very good. It is a machine shop class where the big project is the machining of a vise. We spent three hours yesterday learning how to operate a mill and lathe. The lathe was a throw back to junior high when I took the shop class there. I think that was the last time I operated a lathe. Wow, those were fun times.
It is Friday and that means Hillel. It will be very nice to see everybody tonight. I think that The Thin Blue line is on BBC America tonight as well, I recommend watching it.
