Oh well, I'm at least temporarily moving back to New Iberia with Donnie. We need a place to get settled, and his dad is taking too long deciding when and what we can move out of the apartment, so we're going to move into my mom's house until we can get on our feet. His grandparents want to sell their house, which means we have to find a place to go, but that's all tied up right now, because Donnie's dad doesn't want to move his wife's old stuff out of the apartment, and we're tired of waiting. My stomach has been hurting for the last two days! There are small apartments in Eunice that we could actually rent for $65 a month (which would be unheard of in New Iberia or Lafayette), but we'd have to be put on a waiting list, and Donnie's getting fed up with his family. Plus, Eunice is farther from Lafayette than New Iberia is from Lafayette, and I'd have to drive to Lafayette two days a week to go to school. We're thinking we might just try to find a place in Lafayette. I need a job, but of course, I can't get one until I know where I'll be living. I had an interview at Ray's Bakery yesterday, and today, Stage called to set up an interview, but it now seems pointless to even go. My car has been towed to Loreauville so my mom's friend can try to figure out what's wrong with it. Donnie's grandmother offered to drive me to the interview, but I can't very well go, and possibly accept a job here, and then wind up moving back home next week. So I have no idea what's going on right now, or where I'll be this time next week. Mom said, "Just come home. At least you'll have a roof over your head, and you won't have to move every other day." So that's what we're doing. Stay tuned, I guess, for more stressful updates...
