This chapter is very long, it could have been two I suppose, but it felt right to make it all one long chapter. I'm a bit nervous about this one, it's a bit slower paced than the others, but I hope you guys still enjoy it.

I loved the bromance inspired Cas and Dean talk! Poor Cas, it's so nice to see Dean be nice to him. The hair brushing scene was cute as well (although probably futile ;p ).

You and your cliff hanger endings! Aah! Oh well, it gives me something to look forward to on Tuesdays =D

and lol, yeah, i'm sure Cas's hair was back to sticky up the moment he left the mirror. It's cute that way though anyway :)

The cliffhanger is pretty much why this chapter turned into a monster in lenght. I just keep writing until i reach a cliffy, then it ends. I'm sick like that.

Just so you know, this chapter was my favorite so far. I thought it had a nice rhythym and was well balanced. Nothing to be nervous about, you did well =D

And yes! The just-got-out-of-bed-please-put-me-back-in-it Cas hair is so hot.

I whine about the cliff hangers, but since you update regularly it's really not that bad. It's nice to look forward to something =D

I'm so glad to hear that - i love character moments/bonding (this is actually one of my favorite chapters as well), but in a fic like this it can be tricky to find the right place to put them :)

Oh hell ya just had to leave it there i forgot you like to torture us a little as we wait patiently for another update a week away. That's okay I'm joking I don't mind waiting it gives me something to look forward to.

That part with the cat was hilarious. And a cookie to Sam for remembering that time when the cat scared Dean.

Hay I'm so happy Dean and Cas got to talk about their feelings. Love Sam so much right now. Bromance I love that term but I don't believe it describes their relationship right. Its so much more. I hope the kid and hid dad are okay but unfortunetly that probably isn't so. If they are lucky maybe they will find the boy alive.

I agree :) bromance isn't a strong enough term :) but Sam had to find a way to nudge Dean w/out totally freaking him out *winks* And since this fic is pre-slash i thought it was my best bet :)

DAMN woman you know how to end a chapter! FRAK ME Sam!!!! HA HA loved his comment about the Bromance and I loved that conversation. Glad Dean pushed through his discomfort to fully explain to Cas and I'm glad they forgave each other, a great first step toward them alleviating each others' guilt. GAH I have to wait a whole week *sigh*

BWAHHHAA how could I forget the Puss in Boots line - that had me LOL'ing for real. So glad only the dog was here to hear it ;p

I'm glad that even though you aren't overly familiar with alien you can still enjoy this. I tried to write it in a way that it explained things well enough you didn't really need any knowledge to understand things.
