KPOP concert Las Vegas 8)
Hey guys, so I got back from Las Vegas and I'm happy now that I've seen JYJ AND HoMin... so I just need to get them back together so I can see them sing as DBSK5 and I'll be in heaven (<- LOL, I love that song)
Right so here's what happened ^^
Aha so um… a friend, her sister and me (duh) got to the MGM at around 7-ish? I cant remember, so we had to pass through the metal detector things and (stupid, crazy, sdfgnmdgfthb) people don’t let “professional” cameras in so… I got caught ;A; LOL I had asked my father to let me borrow his camera after begging I would take care of it (it’s really my uncle’s) but I had to leave it with security (At least I wasn’t the only one) but anyways, I had two other really small cameras so even though it wasn’t going to be as good, I had something at least.
Ok skipping that, I had to separate from my friend and her sister since we bought the tickets at a different time. So there I was… lonely… without a cell phone… so very alone… k so I got to my seat (which was in section 10) and it was… ok I guess. It was in the lower seats and yeah… oh and those that had bought the ‘cheaper’ seats were moved because MGM decided to fill up the lower sections to make it look filled up, and so my friend and her sister actually sat in section 10 but farther up so I wasn’t as lonely.
And then there was like a false alarm, some lights flashing and all of the sudden you see a mob of people running to the stage, getting off from their seats, stealing other people’s seats… it was scary. But then the MGM people made everyone go back to their seats (haha suckers) Oh and I felt totally out of place, so many Asian people were there and well… I’m not Asian (neither is my friend) so… I was nervous and intimidated LOL Anyways, they finally put the countdown on the screens for the start of the concert. The concert didn’t start until 8:30-ish btw.
Alright, so it’s a concert right? one in which people get excited and want to stand up. So naturally, me being in the lower rows, I stood up or I wouldn’t be able to see something. So my row stood up, obviously but then I got so bleeping pissed off at some people in the row right behind mine because this Asian lady suddenly shoves my shoulder- no tapping, no asking nicely- practically yelling at me to sit down. I could have snapped at her but nerves and tension are never good with me so I leaned against the seat in front of mine to appease the !@#$%^ older lady (most likely in her 50’s) but then the MGM people saw me sitting on the recliner and told me to get off so the two people in front of me (an Asian lady with her 12-ish year old daughter) adopted me for the concert and allowed me to stand with them. I felt so thankful for them I almost cried, otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to enjoyed the show.
But the guy next to me didn’t move when the older lady, her husband, I’m assuming, and their 30-ish year old daughter (again assuming) demanded him to. I felt so bad for him but he stood his ground even when the three of them took turns standing in front of him, in front of his camera, waving their arms around during the first minutes of the concert. They finally got a warning from the MGM people that they couldn’t make people sit down because, well, they were entitled to stand up seeing how it was hundreds of people standing vs the people complaining. So all that got me pissed off because they were making us miss B2ST -_____- some Asian people have no manners at all. No excuse me, no sorry, no nothing. This doesn’t go to all Asians obviously, I mean hello, I practically want to marry Changmin (who oh my, happens to be Asian) and I know some nice Asian people but others are… not so nice.
Ok enough negativity. Right, the first group to go up was BEAST (Kiki was missing o.O) they sang… ._. Oh shoot, -.- I forgot … ok they sang Breathe, Shock, Fiction and Beautiful… I didn’t film Fiction though, I didn’t want to waste too much memory since I really wanted to film HoMin but I did film them… I’ll upload the videos later, I’m supposed to be doing homework that I forgot to do so yeah… BEAST was funny though, when they tried to speak in English, so cute ^^
Next was SISTAR and well… I cant say much since I didn’t really pay attention to them, I think I have listened to them before but well um yeah… I went to the concert for the guys ._.
Then it was G.Na and she was nice, I liked her last song in English and then Junhyung came out rapping and yeah. She looked like she was about to cry when she was talking to the audience… but other than that she was good. Oh and when she was talking in English, someone shouted 'I love you' to her and she smiled and said "I love you too, sweetie' it was funny ^^
And then it was MBLAQ~ I filmed Mona Lisa, Oh Yeah and Y… I didn’t film Stay though. But they were also good. Joon was so cute trying to speak in English. And then when Thunder announced they would be singing their last song (Oh Yeah) he said to the crowd -in English- that we were allowed to sing along, dance, scream, whatever we wanted… but we weren’t allowed to go home. LOL Hmmm Joon needs to get his abs back, btw, he did show his stomach during Oh Yeah but… he needs to work out more x) even though I enjoyed seeing his abs…
Next was 4 minute and really, besides Hot Issue… I don’t know them. I did listen to their songs and found them nice but other than that I wasn’t as enthusiastic so I started to look around and found something a lot more amusing that the girl group. I caught sight of a fanboy of them dancing to every step of every song they sang. I wanted to laugh so bad because it was this guy, probably around his mid-twenties (a bit on the round side) but he was so into it I kept staring at him (thankfully he was far away from me) but really, highlight of 4 minute’s performance.
After them was Brown Eyed Girls and I believe they started with Abracadabra… and that’s the only song I know from them ._. I mean, I like them but I haven’t kept up with their new songs (which they sang) so I don’t know what to say about them…
Once SHINee came up, I became deaf. There was a girl next to me ( I was now standing in my momentarily adoptive mother’s place because she wanted to sit down, I gave her my seat, seeing how it was the least I could do) back to the deafness, yeah I didn’t scream at all because I didn’t want my screams to come up on the camera but man, the girl behind me was loud o.o Right, so SHINee began with Replay, then with um… -.- I cant remember the order but I did film them all, it was Replay then (idk) Ring Ding Dong, Hello and Lucifer. During Hello, I kept trying to film the stage and the screen so every time ‘Hello’ flashed on the screened, I only managed to get the word ‘Hell’... I laughed after I saw the video…
And finally, finally, Changmin and Yunho came up (my hearing was gone by then) I also filmed all the songs they did, obviously however, it was kinda difficult to take pictures -.- Many of the ones I took came out weird but anyways they started with Maximum, and then they did Before U Go *drool* then Keep Your Head Down after that they took a break to speak to the crowd, in Korean and suddenly this fluent English-speaking voice came up and I though …’ HoMin aren’t that fluent in English O.O’ lol but it was just someone translating for Changmin and Yunho. Their last song was Rising Sun *cry* ah so sad but they were good. I was totally Changmin-biased in my vids but I did try to get Yunho in there just as much. And they left without as much of a goodbye or I love you or anything -___- the other groups did say goodbye, or at least an ‘I love you LV’ but Changmin and Yunho left ;A; how dare they.
At the end, all the groups came out and sang some Korean song (no duh) but I don’t know if it was a traditional Korean song, if it was the anthem, if it was another composed song, I don’t know but they sang that and then they bowed down (HoMin were in the middle, of course, and they bowed the longest, really the girl groups barely bowed down at all) and then they left ;A;
(and the bleeping people previously mentioned just had to insult the guy next to me again -.-)
But besides that, it was wonderful, I saw my future husband~ :DDD it lasted about 3 hours so yeah ^^ that was it~
