“Sometimes I just can’t believe you, Harry,” Hermione said, shaking her head in disappointment.
Harry’s heart sank as he looked between his two best friends. Ron was just glaring at Malfoy with his lip curled, while Draco stared back at him with equal contempt.
It had all started months ago, really. Harry was one of the best students the Auror’s had seen in years and when Draco came along, they had paired him up with Harry, because he was the only one who would take him.
Taking him and turned into… well, taking him and Harry and Draco had started some sort of relationship that turned into, er, love? And then it was time to come out to their friends and what better way than to get caught shagging in the men’s loo by Ron?
Okay, perhaps it could’ve gone a bit better.
“You could’ve just told us,” Ron said suddenly. “I don’t like him, but if he makes you happy…”
Harry stared. “Really? You’re okay with it?”
Ron shrugged. “Whatever. I just don’t ever want to see it again.”
“I won’t send you that pensieve then,” Draco quipped. Hermione broke out into laughter and soon enough, they all joined in. Harry thought that maybe, just maybe, everything would be just fine.
