Harry feels Draco coming closer, and he knows that he’d do anything for this man. That he’d cross oceans and break bones. Anything at all, because it was all for him. He could feel both of their hearts racing as they kissed.

Harry pulls Draco out of work during his lunch. They find a small hotel close to the hospital and Harry pulls of Draco’s Healer uniform, dragging him into bed. When Draco moves, it’s like Harry sees his future in front of him. There’s nothing better than this.

Draco watches as Harry paces in his living room, looking out of the window for any more owls carrying Howlers. Considering the whole Wizarding world had now found out about them, it is, of course, expected. Draco walks over and curls his arms around Harry’s waist, begging him to talk to him. To put his hands all over him. Harry complies.

Harry is almost afraid of how strongly he feels about Draco. It’s almost as if he’s addicted to him, like Draco is a special drug made only for Harry. Harry knows that nothing makes him feel like Draco. He’s scared, but he just can’t get enough.

Draco finally sees it. He finally understands what everyone talks about when they say the word “love”. He sees that Harry is there, with him, all the time. In his heart, and he hopes that Harry never lets him go because he doesn’t think he’d able to survive without him.

The Portkey airport was busy and Harry was leaving for a whole month on an Auror mission. Draco let him go and walked away quickly, hiding his tears and waving to Harry in farewell.

The night Harry came back, they made love for hours, cooped up in their bedroom. Harry looked over and whispered how much he missed Draco and Draco knew there was no way around it. Once the words were out and Harry was kissing him, they both finally agreed on something beyond all comprehension. They loved each other.
