i've finally moved out, and to philly no less, just a bit south of center city. our house and my roomates seems to be the best chemistry so far, things are really working out, even though my room is a 8 by 8 closet, i've begun to actually love my room as well now. so here's the breakdown.
Jana - she eats a lot, and random things at that. she's terrible at mario, loves disney, and would make a rocking peter pan. we're good at hunting down johnny look-a-likes, snacking on rap snacks (bar b q my honey), and being strangers (oh wait, i've gotten that confused with someone else... bday texts????!!!)
Mary - i like her mostly for the fact that she lets me use her fresh cilantro. and she breaks it down like no one else when we party. today she tought me how to make crispy tortillas, and it made me so happy i had to pee.
Becky - do i include pete in here, i mean, practically one person, i can only hope that someday we can refer to them as Bete or Pecky, i mean why not j lo and ben did it, we can as well. i think everytime i see becky, and when i dont, she is doing laundry. i'm only nice to her because she gives me brown sugar and cinnamon pop tarts. but in reality, this girl has been the greatest.
Pete(y) - he likes to take vacations and do nothing with his life. and the one thing he does decide to do is go to Altoona of all places!! we take homo pics together, and he likes to sleep in my bed when i'm not there. he's a hater of real christmas trees, yet would love to decorate for thanksgiving by having a corncopia with real fruit (which no one will eat). Thanks to Pete, i will no longer need to get a tetanus shot every time i use one of our pieces of silvermetalware.
Fifi - our chinchilla that hasnt arrived yet. i call every animal fifi, especially small ones. i shall fall in love with this little ball of fluff.
I love my place and my roomates, could not ask for a better situation. My new job at H&M is going exactly in the direction i want to go. They're sending me out to California for a month to open a new store in Pasadena. Which means, i get away during most of winter!! The reason i love my roomates, they bought me a six pack of blue moon tonight as a Cali congrats gift, which pretty much sums up why i love everyone here.
