"Of Man, Beast, Angel, and Child"
Between gods and devils
The living and the dead
Gluttens and the starved
There is a man
A man who has danced with the devil
And held hands with Christ
A man who's inner child is tucked in a bed
A bed that is locked in a
Dank, dark, lonely, stuffy room
This child has yet to wake up,
Has yet to play in the sun
This man wears a halo of
Gold,
Suspended by horns of
Bone and brimstone
This angel with devil wings
Is all that is worldly sin, is yet,
Divine with his intentions
I am this
Beast,
I am this
Man,
And I am this
Child.
