Stop and breathe
So maybe the students who i'm trying to inform don't appreciate the work of the newspaper as much as I wish they would.
But to have so many members of the administration rave about how much we've improved, how professional we are, and how proud they are that our paper is representing the campus.
It feels damn good.
Especially to have someone who worked in the press for over a decade tell me that I did an amazing job covering a hugely controversial event on campus, I was really proud of myself.
Life is so hectic these days that I don't really take any time to look at what i'm doing and really take it in.
I did that today, and I just felt really good inside.
I kill myself on a weekly basis, but it's all worth it in the end.
This is obviously more for my own personal reflection, but whatev.
My life no longer feels empty without someone by my side.
That may sound pathetic; but honestly, have you met me?
Life is good.
