Farewell, Hansruedi ...
This really struck me today, so much more than the death of Joey Ramone, back in 2001 - of which I had heard in the radio news while driving to school.
And just today, I swooned over Hansruedi again and the fact that I really might have a good chance to visit the Giger Museum in Switzerland in July or August ... when a curious colleague confronted me with the news page declaring Giger's death.
I'm ... really not able to find the right words now.
Farewell again, Hansruedi, and may your eternal sleep finally be spared by the nightmares that made you bring us some of the greatest pieces of art of the 20th century - and beyond, inspiring a whole generation.
