My family needs some prayers...
My Brother-in-Law, Jeremiah, just returned to Iraq to finish out the remainder of his tour of duty. This comes after being able to take his R&R to come home for the birth of his and my sister's first child, Ethan. I ask that you keep him in your prayers; that he come home quickly (he's scheduled to come home in February 2009) and safely.
My Nephew, Ethan, who today is six days old. Pray that he grows to be a strong boy, a healthy boy. Pray that he has good relationships with his family and friends.
My sister, Mary-Anne, having to take care of her newborn son. Pray that she grows along with Ethan, that she gets sleep when she can, and has friends to help her when she needs it. She is more than 2000 miles away from the rest of her family.
My Aunt Wilma (my mother's oldest sister) isn't doing very well. She is on oxygen and, from what I've been told, is speaking gibberish, but also at times seems that she is speaking to God. That aside, the family is worried, enough so that they've notified the entire family (which is quite large). Please pray for Wilma, her husband Ed, their children and grandchildren.
