Hi everyone! Here are our pictures from the car show on 8/6/05. I was pleased with the turn out and happy that we got to see some old friends and some even older cars. They were all beautiful! Talking about our car or the meet? I kind of wish we had stayed near her, so we could have met new people and heard their comments. But there wasn't any good shade right there so we hung out with the DHA folks on the other end of the parking lot. The only thing I heard about our car was when someone asked me if a rather plain looking one was mine and I told him no, mine had the paint job. He turned and just walked away from me! LOL.

How'd I miss that car? I thought I saw nearly all of them, even the DHA ones. I'll have to ask razerwolfe if he got any pics since I was helping out judging. And I don't think I got to meet you either :/

Unfortunately, it seems like I didn't get to meet anyone new. I am not one of those "go up and introduce yourself" kind of people, especially when sweating buckets and melting in the sun. I wish I had known there would be so many people from this LJ community there- perhaps I would have tried to be a little more outgoing. :-)

Basically, I made afew rounds and admired all the cars and then found a shady spot and stuck to it.
