Well, I go to pick out a fanfic for today and this one stood out big time.

Background: His family has been killed and he decides to summon a demon for revenge. Since the demon wasn't the one to kill Aizen he remains. But Aizen is still alive.
Sue Qualifications: What could be an interesting AU is butchered by the fact there is no planning and the characters are flat cardboard representatives of themselves.
Annoying Attributes: AU doesn't mean doing whatever you want. They're pulling basic elements from the Bleach storyline and slapping them here and there. With a lot of work however, this might actually be a good story.
Sample: (Chapter 1)
It was Tuesday night, and Ichigo was in his room. He laid out the things need to summon a demon, incense, smelling of pine, a red candle for revenge, and the paper sigil.
He lit the candles and the incense, closed his eyes and pictured the sigil in his mind, before he said, "I summon thee, Ogichi, to help me achieve my goal, so long as you can do it."
At first nothing happened, then the candles blew out, and Ichigo heard a voice in his head. "Ya summoned me, why?"
"Revenge on the one who killed my family," Ichigo said.
"Perfect, ya called on the right demon," Ogichi replied. "So, who is this person I'm going to be killing?"
Ichigo stood up and walked to his dresser, where there was a mirror and a picture of the person who killed his family. "Him," Ichigo replied, pointing at a picture of the founder of Hueco Mundo Corporation.
