I am so sorry this took so long R!anon, but as you will see it is quite LONG. I also intend to post this locked to Quincest later on.

Uryuu frowned as he approached the familiar building, his frown growing ever deeper as he walked inside past the waiting area and drew nearer to his father's office, though as he approached the familiar hallway he made an abrupt turn to his left, the carpeted hallway changing to that of a smooth vinyl. He was here for his yearly physical, something they had done for as long as he could remember, though shortly after regaining his powers his father deemed it necessary to ensure that the spiritual recovery wasn't damaging him physically as well.

As he walked down the narrow hallway full of exam rooms he did his best to calm himself, choosing to enter the very last room on his right. He scowled upon entering, having chosen a room lacking a chair, leaving him with no other choice but to lean with his back to the exam table, pressing his palms into the paper covering to help hoist himself up. Once seated he waits patiently, concentrating only on keeping his calm composure, sure that Ryuuken would enter and begin his inspection at any moment. Ten minutes pass without interruption, and Uryuu can't help but grow frustrated at attempting to maintain his inner peace; quite sure that his father has been tied up elsewhere in the hospital with some much more pressing business, he leans back onto the crinkling exam paper and lets his mind wander.

The reason he came to the hospital frowning today crosses his mind, though this time he makes no effort to push the thought away. He flashes back to all of the examinations his father has given him over the years - always starting with an ear inspection, then on to his eyes, then throat, then the cold press of a stethoscope against his bare chest. Next came the test of his reflexes, the usual questions regarding his health, and then he was asked to step down from the exam table and undo his pants, his father's gloved, lubricated finger abruptly slipped inside him and removed just as quickly. Not having ever been examined by anyone else, he had always thought this routine, though he had thought to question on what exactly the purpose was when he was younger.

"T-Tousan?" he had asked shyly after undoing his pants, Ryuuken walking to the counter across from the exam table to reach for a latex glove and a dollop of lubricant.

"Hmm?" his father responded, returning to stand behind the boy, pressing his gloved fingertip to Uryuu’s entrance, Uryuu tensing at the cold and unfamiliar contact. "Relax. I don't want to hurt you," Ryuuken had said gently, bringing his left hand up to rub at Uryuu's shoulders, Uryuu relaxing slightly at the warm and gentle touch; the length of Ryuuken's finger was then pushed inside him all at once. Uryuu tensed momentarily then remembered his question.

"Why do you need to do this sort of thing?" he had asked, and Ryuuken's finger had slipped out of him, Ryuuken turning away from the boy as Uryuu did up his pants.

"Prostate exam," he had said simply, Uryuu turning just in time to catch Ryuuken flicking the latex glove into the garbage and moving to the counter's sink, turning the faucet on to wash his hands. Uryuu stared at his father's back blankly. Prostate exam?

"The prostate gland is responsible for fluid production and the muscular contractions involved during ejaculation," he continued, "and due to the high nerve concentration, may sometimes act as a stimulation center for pleasure." Innocent Uryuu boggled at this statement, though it had been said with the proper informative tone and nothing more. "However, it can become infected, inflamed, or cancerous, all of which can lead to urinary problems, thus leading to the necessity of an exam."

"Oh," he had replied, the answer to his question now clear. He watched as Ryuuken stopped the faucet and turned again to face him, though only for a moment before Ryuuken decided to check his watch.

"I'll see you at home," he said hurriedly, and Uryuu had responded with a simple nod as Ryuuken turned to walk out the door.

And so this exam that they had repeated through all of the years was the reason he was here today, resting on the exam table lost in worry.
