A day late and a lot of dumb
[Captain Hisagi has been lurking around the nexus the last couple of days, slinking almost, because he knows what day it was Saturday and he's afraid someone's going to pounce on him about it. Matsumoto, Kira, even Renji...he wouldn't have put it past one of them to suddenly appear around the next corner, ambush him on patrol, or burst into his office while he was working, just to foist a cake on him.
That's right, Hisagi Shuuhei is avoiding his birthday. It just marks another year stuck in the nexus, even if he does have a lot to be thankful for. At the moment, he'd rather let it sneak by him with no one noticing...]
