"Shunseiiii-saaaaaaan!" Rangiku's voice rang loud and clear throughout the void. Two bottles of sake clinking together as she displayed them in her hand, waving frantically with the other.

He looked up and grinned at her, "Ah, hello, Rangiku-chan~! Care to join us?"

~Rangiku blinked a few times, glancing behind the Captain. She cocked a brow.

"We, Shunsui-san?"

"Of course." He motioned to the (definitely empty space) next to him. "Nanao-chan is here, too!"

~She eyed him suspeciously, under the full knowledge that Shunsui liked a good joke. She proceeded with caution.~

"Oh, I see. Hello, Nanao-chan! What brings you both here?" She bowed poiltely (and dramatically) to the space indicated as Nanao.

He glances at the empty space as if Nanao is answering. "Now that's not very fair. I didn't just drag you out here to get out of paperwork. Although that is an added bonus!"

That Fourth Squad patient's uniform he has under his pink (and up close, noticeably worse for the wear) haori seems a little farther than he might go just for a joke.
