I found a cute little GinKira story on a Russian page, in online-viewable format.

Scoop

It made me laugh, which is a nice change for a GinKira story!

There are some other doujinshi there as well, including one or two GinKira ones, but this was the only one I hadn't seen before.

Oh man, that was just made of win. End gag was great, but I still can't get over flying Gin XD

Yeah, I have to find some use for that "Gin comin' atcha!" panel. Creepy and hilarious at the same time... :-> And I always like it when writers come up with cute practical (!?) uses for the zanpakatou releases.

Hahaha agree! This is the only one of that kind I've ever seen though. Poor Byakuya, I don't think anyone could ever find a practical use for his.

Ummm.... Instead of scattering rose petals at a wedding? The other one I saw was Ryūjin Jakka being used to heat water, cook, etc. I think that was at the end of an anime episode.

XD Deadly, deadly rose petals. Oh the gags to be had with that and anyone paired with Rukia. Haha really? I'll go and have a look for it.

Funny. Could be quite an original wedding video.

If I remember right, it was at the end of one of the episodes in the zanpakatou rebellion arc. I don't remember much detail, just Ukitake or Shunsui making the comment (quietly!) that maybe Ryujin Jakka had gotten tired of being used for menial chores. Might be easier to find it on youtube, if people are still posting the omakes there. :-)

After a pleasant two hours of watching all the older omakes, (sweet procrastination) I found it "You've saved me many times. Making a meal, when I was cold, even helping to cook fish"
XD Well that just hands down made my day. Fish? really?

That's the one! Gladja found it and enjoyed. Good to know that a thousand years of being a shinigami can lead to that sort of homey bonding with one's zanpakatou, no?
Fish=brain food. :-> So that's his secret...
