So, Canada Day long weekend. Bah. I wanted to go camping but everything is booked solid. We may try and go next weekend so we can be out of town during Pride. I just have no desire to vbe a part of it anymore. After so many years of putting it on and of being way too busy and way too visible in the gay community I am enjoying my privacy and anonimity. people still come up to me and ask if I was the one that used to be on tv or who owned that store or whatever but I am glad that I am no longer that girl. At least for now. So, we may head out of town for Pride weekend and just enjoy the weather...if it is good anyway.
This weekend I think I'll just take my camera and see what I can get into. Also, want to check out the Sooke Potholes Campground for possible Labor Day camping.
Moving on....Clive Davis! The man needs to get a grip and pull his head out of his very old ass. I don't know what he was talking about...My December is one of the best, if not the best, records of the year so far. Kelly Clarkson has never sounded better and as much as I liked BreakAway this cd is so much more personal, raw and real that it blows me away. Download it from iTunes peope or go buy it like I did. Do yourself a favor. It really is worth the money...take a good listen to Maybe, Chivas and Irvine. You'll be glad you did.
