Samoa Boas
I haven't been back to exchange the raspberry fun fur for hot pink yet, but I did start a new boa with 2 strands of sapphire and one of a dark purple (I forget the name). I'm also doing it four stitches across instead of six, and I'm using a J hook instead of an I. It's a little lighter, definitely skinnier, and is much closer to the 8 foot length I had in mind. But of course it's enough short that I'll have to get another set of fun furs to finish it. These are not cheap boas! I think I'll give it another go with 2 strands instead of 3 and/or use a N hook and see how that goes. I'm even wondering about doing the boa only 3 stitches across instead of 4. I can't believe how fast this one worked up! I *only* worked on it on the bus today, which means I haven't worked more than 2 1/2 hours total on it. And I know I didn't work on it over my entire commute/batch of errands, so it's definitely less than that.
