Hot Live Bird Action and a Squirrel
Michael made hamburgers for dinner and I did frozen berries with Tuaca-laced whipped cream on top for dessert. We had a round of mini-golf in the front yard, testing it out for Chilifest. Worn clean out by the mini-golf, we sat in the grass with tons of Hot Live Bird Action And a Squirrel not minding at all that we watched. As we were sitting in the middle of the yard, it was Surround Sound with more than one bird flying less than a foot over my head. Loops and swoops flying from overhead cables to the fence to the camellia bush to the roof to the tree to the feeders to the garlic & onion tops to the tomato cages to the birdbaths to the ground and back to the feeders. All the while Mission Impossible: Squirrel is furtively making his way to the bits that fall directly underneath the feeder. We even discovered we have a squirrel nest up high in the dogwood tree!
