Beetle Bug Beret
I just finished this blue beetle bug beret today. It came out really well except that I couldn't get one of the eyes to sit right, but that's more my poor sewing ability than anything else. I love the design. I saved the directions figuring it'll work with Microfiber or maybe even silk corded yarn. Now that I have a better handle on how to make circles, I think I can make one of these to fit me (the kits are for *very* small children. the large size barely fit a friend's 3 y/o). I was really quite pleased with the kit - plenty of yarn to get everything done without having only an inch end to work with, enough stuffing to do the head, very nice. I'd recommend the kits to someone with a beginning knowledge of crochet who wanted a cute end product.
