Because I Could

I went downtown today mostly to get out of the house and to run a few errands. I spent about an hour right at city center, where all the buses cross each other, sitting on the sidewalk and crocheting. I had a sign that said "Hooker looking for change. Crochet for charity" I had my crocheted hat upturned and put a couple of dimes in it to get started. One guy stopped to read the sign, but that was about it. I'll have to try again on a weekend, maybe with one or two other knitters/crocheters. Maybe spiff up the sign a little bit too.

Went to one of the local yarn shops to poke around. I'd kinda been wanting to get some Tibetan recycled silk/wool/cotton blend to make a wall hanging for my office, but it's almost gone, and what's left is $13 a hank. Feh. I already have too many projects going. I have to keep reminding myself of that. Must stretch arms and hands so I can work on That Damn Blanket tonight.
