Moa Boas
Last night some co-workers and I went to see another co-worker in a local production of a musical. We'd decided to go straight from work to dinner (clear across town), hang out and do some knitting & crocheting, and then go to the show that didn't start till 8 pm. I decided to bring one of the boas because it works up quick and is all tactile and showy for sharing with the group. I lucked out - one of the boa sets of colors matched my outfit perfectly! I got it started on the way into work and finished it while we were sitting in the theater lobby. While we were working several people watched as they passed by and one woman stopped to comment and then couldn't resist petting the boa. It doesn't hurt that once I get the thing four feet long or so that I can wear it as I work on it. I got it done with just 6 minutes to spare before finding our seats. How's that for timing?
