You could try Metro or Sky. Not terribly cheap I know, but I know they do student discount, plus Metro is the best reprographics place I know in London.
Look on Tottenham Court Road as well. I know there are some excellent developing places there that may not be too pricey.
i don't think there is a cheap way to do it. i just paid £30 for 2 films, 24 shots! i am going to buy a medium format scanner and just get negatives developed.
the cheapest i found was at the Snappy snaps in farringdon. not only are they the cheapest but they can also do it same day (none of this send it off, lose it for a couple of weeks, then charge you a gazillion pounds crap) and they're really nice in there, and last time i went the guy helped me sort out my overeposed frames on his fun computer out back. hurrah.

i've started a discount card. so
far i have one stamp. i run around to
too many snappy snaps, last minute, when
a project is due in. annoying.
