I apologize in advance for choosing to express myself through poetry

"Watching Some One Live There Life"

I see walking down that dark road,
You look so hopeless and alone,
I know you feel so lost and scared,
You think no one's been here before,
But don't you see the road?

Don't ask me for I didn't built it,
I just spent my fair time walking it too,
I too looked around and didn't like what I saw,
I too thought the world was falling apart,
I remember well my journey on this God forsaken road.

I warned you about that pot hole,
I showed you where it scarred my knee,
But you thought you where on a different path,
It hurt to see you stumble as I did,
Now your blood mixes with mine on that mother fucking road.

You keep looking for a short cut,
Just the same as me,
Friend I tell you there is none,
For I see much more clearly,
Trust me when I say I know this bitter road.

You ask me how I can possibly know,
Though you see me at the road's end,
From here I can see better what's in front of you,
Plus I remember that treacherous bend,
Please let me help you navigate this dangerous road.

I know that you can get through it,
I know you're just as capable as me,
Trust me when I say you must keep moving forward,
It's the only way you'll finish,
And when you get here we'll both be stronger,
Thanks to that well traversed road.

To anyone going through a break up that seems like hell, you're not alone. And incase my little poem doesn't convince you, start reading my posts from Dec. 4 2005 on until I stop bitching. Real quick note, if you think I've stopped bitching, then skim another 10 posts.
