Here's for hoping. I dropped my cover letter and resume in the mail today for the internship up in northwestern MN monitoring and controlling invasive species. Now...I have to get a few back-up plans, look up possible bus routes to get there, and.....wait.
...waiting is always the worst part...
I really hope I get this one.
On a side note, my roommie's father and sister are gonna be in town this weekend...and they'll probably be staying in our room (not official yet, but...probably) This will make things interesting. (Minor annoyance: she didn't ask me if they could stay, just told me they'd be coming. You're supposed to TALK with your roommate first and ASK if it's ok. What if I don't want them there?! It's my room, too.... not like I'd kick them out or that I mind particularly, but...a little consideration would be appreciated....at least she warned me beforehand, I guess...)
And we're going on a field trip in my Historical Geology lab today!!!! Yay! Not as fun as Geology 102's trip to Crystal Cave, I'm sure, but it'll still be nice to get outside and observe things (we're looking at layers of rocks at road cuts....)
