Sitting in the computer lab of the dorm....
Two girls walk in and stand next to another girl at the computer and say something to the effect that they're abducting her on their way out to eat. She says "ok," then, must've thrown them an odd look, and they dub it a "dirty mom look" (???) and she says that she "can't trust you guys as far as I can throw you. You have that sneaky look in your eyes" and then they leave together to go eat.
Ah, and this is the third time I logged into this computer in the last....oh, 5 minutes...
1st time: when i got here, the computer was logged off, but someone's flash drive was still in the computer, so I logged in, opened it up and looked for a name. There was only a first name, so I looked up everyone with that first name in the online directory and found the one that lives in this dorm. Logout of the computer and go find his room (in the guys' wing...first time I've been on that side) Then return to the computer.
2nd login---I sit down, get ready to work....to realize I forgot some stuff up in my room. not wanting to hog the computer (there're only 4 in here, and one's busted), I logout again and head upstairs. Come back down--computer's still open so...
3rd login-just got back, and now the girl to my left was "abducted" by her "sneaky" eyed friends.
And it's boiling up in my room, because my roommate always needs to have the heat on (even when she's gone all day....just like all her other appliances...*groan*) and she doesn't seem to comprehend having the grate partially open. I DON'T WANNA BE ABLE TO WALK AROUND NAKED AND SWEATING IN MY ROOM, THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!! It's disgusting and it's wasteful. 'nough said.
And now there's EXTREMELY noisy people gathering in all parts of the Hall, and it's very disruptive.
Aye-yi-yi.....yare yare... ENOUGH ALREADY!!!
Okay, rant over. Though, I must say....the majority of college students (those represented, anyway, in thoughts like these...I hate generalizing...) are very annoying.
2 projects....due in 4 days...
And my concentration's thoroughly shattered by all the events occuring around me.
I'm too easily distracted for my own good.
And that's the snippet of my evening.
