Tried to make homemade marshmallows on Saturday.
They turned out more like the "Tablet" candy I brought back from Scotland---off-white, hard, grainy/sugary texture, with a flavor similar to candy corn. Way too sweet and sugary. Yuck. (Check it out---

Anyone need some "sugar cubes" for tea? That's the only use I can think of for them.
