Trying again. Still totally random.
The Rules
1. Open your music player (iTunes, Winamp, Media Player, etc).
2. Put it on shuffle.
3. Press play.
4. For every ’scene,’ type the song that’s playing. When you go to a new question press the next button.
+ Tagline: Get Em High - Kanye Etc
(we are off to a better start than last time. throw your hands up. heather day's movie is the ish!).
+ Opening Credits: Push - Pharoahe Monch
(nice. "I live my life, one day at a time. hold my head so i dont lose my mind. some times you might fall down but you get back up. get on your journey...)
+ Waking Up: Please Don't Go - Tank
(that was misplaced. this is a total break up song. i could wake up to the beat, but not the words).
+ Working Song: Ghostown - Zox
(i downloaded the zox album in highschool. dont know it at all though. this is a good song if i file paper or run errands. i hope my career will be better than that. its an alright work song though i guess).
+ Falling in Love: I'm So Hood - G-Unit.
(who the f am i falling in love with? this is concerning. or, totally not a good song for this part of my movie).
+ Sex: Ms New Booty - Bubba Sparxxx
(haha).
+ Lusting: Juicy (pete rock's version).
(love this song. granted, it is big's story not my own. and not much about lust. i would like this for waking up or walking in the park).
+ Cooking Dinner: dance - preach
(just recently downloaded this. first listen. i like it. its ok for dinner. that is a grind for me nothing more nothing less. but this is a good song for other parts of my movie. i'm gonna remember this one.)
+ Walk in the Park: ( i am skipping stand up and interludes, so sorry freeway/jay-z.) first song up is Got Money - Lil Wayne and T-Pain.
(what kind of park is this?)
+ Working Out at the Gym: musical interlude so i'll keep it. Summer time by Omer Saar.
(this is a total long night alone song. not a gym song in the least. move this to long night alone.)
+ Fight Scene: Fake Bonanza - Mos Def
(one of the few songs on true magic that i like. but its not a fight song. unless, like, i am being very stealth. extremely stealth. or it is slow motion. really slow.)
+ Breaking Up: I Just Wanna Love U - Jay-Z
(maybe i am breaking up for another dude. cuz i get men left and right. i mean, that is the only way this song would work. it still isnt great. sorry jay.)
+ Secret Love: Break and Butter - The Roots.
(i dig this song. but i am not sure what it's about. it is not a secret love song. maybe a work song, considering the kind of work i do)
+ Life’s Okay: Lets Get Retarded - Black Eyed Peas
(bump that down 2).
+ Mental Breakdown: Here We Go - Trina and Kelly Rowland.
(Can this be my breaking up story? Trina is tough. It's only mental breakdown if that's love related. I feel like there's a 70/30 chance that any breakdown i have will be work related).
+ Partying: Harmony's Beat - by a dude i went to high school with.
(word to harmony! not sure if i love ur beat all that much though. yeah. i can't party to this. it would be one of those not so good nights)
+ Long Night Alone: Caminho - Ramiro Musotto
(didnt even know i had this song. oh. word to damali. rough guide to brazilian electronica. i guess it could work. its more of like a learning to fly song though. or driving down an endnless road into the distance towards something wonderful and exciting. yeah this is not a long night alone song. unless my long nights alone are really cool. which they usually are not.)
+ Final Battle: I Smell P---Y - 50 Cent.
(i'm saying, don't f with me. slash, i dont support vulgarizing a woman's body as a pejorative insult word to sling around. but still, don't f with me.)
+ Death Scene: Murda 4 Life - Ja Rule and Lil Kim
(this song is boring).
+ Funeral: WW3- Ruff Riders and Snoop Dogg
(my funeral is a party. no, i don't see this happening.)
+ Closing Credits: Golpe De Estado - Immortal Technique
(this is so intense. maybe if i was a latina revolutionary... i mean, it's cool from what i can understand. this may work. maybe.)
