☛ Second Objection
The City seems to be a lot more... alive than Los Angeles. I'm not sure if this is a good thing, but we'll see. I've been lucky enough to duck the curses... Kinda makes me worry about what's going to happen when I do get cursed...
(*Gulp* I hope it's not like the one that affected Mr. Gavin a couple days ago...)
I had lunch with Mr. Gavin and Mr. Wright yesterday. We talked a lot about the law and its state back in Los Angeles, and it makes me wonder what kind of state its in here in the City. Mr. Gavin and I are going to start a practice, so I'm looking forward to learning all about how the law differs here! I hope to be able to adapt my style for the courts here... (And my Chords of Steel need a chance to make their debut!)
PRIVATE THOUGHTS
I'm worried about Mr. Gavin, and everything that Prosecutor Gavin has told me... Prosecutor Gavin seemed so convinced about all of it, that I find it hard to doubt what he said, but at the same time... he has no proof about everything that happened, so how am I supposed to trust that? I have to find the truth; if Mr. Wright says it's true... I don't know what I'll do. I need evidence. I have no choice to trust Mr. Gavin until then.
