Prom...
Well, the whole weekend is over and I'm kind of sad. Basically everything about high school ended for me in one weekend. First off, my track season ended on friday when I failed to make state, then I had my last marching band parade on Saturday up in Bellingham. Then of course there was prom on Sunday. I don't want to dwell on the sad so I'll just talk about prom. It was really fun after all. Yazmin and I were the first two people at school to get our pictures taken. By the time more people arrived we had already taken our pictures and were waiting for our group to arrive. Carmie and Josef showed up late of course so we weren't able to take the group picture that we wanted. It was okay though. After we finished pictures we assembled into our stretch excursion. That ride was so cool. We drove around down town and everyone pointed and stared. It was hilarious. We arrived at the Metropolitan Grill and had our dinner there. I spent about $118 dollars but it was all worth it. The limo picked us back up at around nine and we still had some time to kill before our limo rental expired. The driver drove us around the lake and we even stopped at the Fremont Troll to take pictures. After that, we just cruised around a little more until our time was up. The actually dance was okay, but the DJ was pretty bad. He kept mixing in techno and it was really hard to dance to. The hall was great though, and it was a great experience nonetheless. After the dance, we ended up going out again to play pool, and then Alex had to bring Shannon back home to Kirkland. Derick was really funny when Alex was at the door with her and you could tell that Derick really wanted something to happen. Nothing did though. Then we all went home and that was the end.
