Well, Well, Well, It looks like we have a candidate for "Ultimate Idiot 2005" by the name of "Kracko". He goes around mocking Mr. O.M.A and the rest of Fireball20XL, then he tries to defend himself by saying he wasn't being serious when he was mocking them. All he really did was get them mad. Now he's getting a serious E-scolding by many members of TFS, and even some that were formerly part of the forum. However, Kracko tries countering that, by trying to make witty comebacks (and failing to do so) on his
website. Here's my lecture to him. I'm posting this in case he changes it to suit his arguement, so you can see the Red-hot Truth!
Okay, you...
Although I never got a chance to see your comics...but you have no right to bash Mr. O.M.A or Psyguy or anyone else involved.
And you don't get that emotion is not easily conveyed over the internet. Even if you were being sarcastic, nobody could tell that.
As for comparing yourself to great comedians like Chris Rock and Geogre Carlin, what in the world are you thinking?! You're more along the lines of Rodney "INeedHalp" Nelson, and you can find him at
http://ineedhalp.sheezyart.com/. The F-bomb does not make you funny. I've rarely, if ever, used that word in my comics. Making an effort to be creative is the way to go. It took YEARS of hard work and creative plot development and punchlines for people like O.M.A, Psy and Suigi to get where they are now.
I'm guessing that your comic is like the thousands of FB20XL and Bob and George clones out there. Maybe reading the 10 Commandments of Sprite Comics, found at
http://www.fragile-minds.com/crashnbass/donts.html, would help you be funny.
Who knows? Maybe your descriptions of Alan and Bryon are perfect descriptions of yourself. Maybe YOU should try waiting until you can make a good sprite comic like Author Space or N-Fans and that you can succeed in not being a pompous loser before showing your face amongst the big guys. In fact, Chris Green is getting off light compared to the bashing you've earned.
And No, you don't need Photoshop to make good comics. In fact, MS Paint, a good plot, and some pre-made special effects are all one needs to go a good ways in the world of sprite comics.
