There is a city/town in Ohio--of all places!--that is called California and has a Coney Island. Fucking ridiculous.
The one and only, true and authentic, legendary, historic Coney Island that I will ever acknowledge is the one in Brooklyn, baby . . . home of the original Nathan's Famous; the rickety, wooden Cyclone roller coaster; and those other notorious attractions: the Circus Sideshow, the annual Mermaid Parade, and Burlesque at the Beach. ;)
