Inattention is Fucking Up Nigeria
So, after a period of forward movement in Nigeria it has suddenly contracted. Why? Years of inattention. Knowing that African nations do have a tendency towards corruption it is foolish to believe that government officials will not revert to type. So with the increase in petro-dollars coming in from all sides, it was simply a matter of time before someone realized how very easy it would be to grift the system. So while each batch of politicians continues sucking the people dry nothing gets done. The cultist still roam the streets kidnapping and torturing people. The air is still horribly polluted. The police are once again corrupt.
Recent events have convinced me that I am officially done with Nigeria. It hasn't been an easy decision, but I want nothing to do with my motherland any more.
