Oh, don't get me wrong. I was all in the Christmas spirit until recently. Seriously, this was supposed to be the best Christmas ever. I put so much thought into everyone's gift, and I've been determined to get them. I couldn't wait to see the looks on their faces. Then all hell broke loose last week. My mother calls to tell me that no one has money and so they were going to draw names to see who would buy gifts for whom (or whatever)....*blinks* She calls...last...week...WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU COME UP WITH THE IDEA OF DRAWING NAMES A FRIGGIN' WEEK BEFORE CHRISTMAS!?!??? So I'm a little ticked and I tell her everyone will just have to take their gifts and like them. Oh, but it gets worse. When looking for my cousin, Danielle's gift (you may remember her from earlier entries, she was like my best friend) online, the stupid site wouldn't let me buy gift certificates. It kept saying page couldn't be found. But I solved that the next day by getting a gift certificate at another spa. Then I get an email from itsablackthang.com (don't worry, I'm embarrassed, too) saying that the gift I picked out for my brother and his wife is out of stock and the reason why they couldn't email me before yesterday is because their site has been so busy the past few weeks. Hhhmmm...maybe because it's fucking CHRISTMAS!!! So I emailed them back telling them to just send it to their address when it comes in stock. Ugh, I had problems with this site earlier, when buying my Aunt Jenny's gift. It was just such a hassle. I wouldn't recommend buying from them. Anyway, so, the name drawing. *chuckles* Guess whose name I draw? *laughs* Tabitha!!! One of the two people I didn't buy a gift for because I wasn't sure she was coming!!! So I had to shell out more money. Man, I wish that was the end of it, but no, this is. My sister calls me today to say that she won a contest and is getting a free iPod with a 20 GB hard drive. Guess what I bought her for Christmas...a MP3 player!!! *whimpers* I told my mother the only other thing that could possibly ruin this holiday even more is snow. *sighs* We shall see...
