We just bought a used PS2 with Guitar Hero I** + guitar off craigslist ($75, not bad). Then we stopped by Game Stop and got a controller, Castlevania: Lament of Innocence (my pick) and Shadow of the Colossus (David's pick). I am pleased. Now I have more guitar hero songs to play! And eventually we can get Guitar Hero II and some Final Fantasy

Oh man I still need to borrow a PS2 and Shadow of the Colossus; I played the first few bosses and it was awesome. You guys should totally rent/buy ICO also, it's fun and one of the best games-as-art examples I've ever seen.

Someday you and Dave and I should Rock Band together :)

Yeah, I was curious about ICO and Katamari Damacy... are there any other mandatory ones?

I don't really know, I never owned a PS2. And I've sadly never played Katamari. I only really learned about ICO through my Game Design course where the professor described it as "one of those things that breaks your heart because you know you'll never do something as beautiful in your entire life."
