Risotto in ricecooker:
1 cup arborio (starchy rice crap that you make risotto with). DON'T RINSE IT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD.
3 cups hot! stock (like: chicken, vegetable), or even hot tap water.
1 tbsp olive oil or butter.
optional: herbs/spices of your choice: ie, basil, oregano, garlic powder, onion powder. quantity is a matter of preference.

With the rice cooker plugged in (and set to warm), dump in the rice and olive oil.
Mix well to coat rice.
Switch rice cooker to "cook"
Pour in hot liquid of choice + optional spices
STIR.
Let sit until it is boiling, without the cover
Once it is boiling, stir frequently
It is done when the liquid is absorbed and it is all creamy looking.
If it switches off before it is done, just switch it back on. And stir. A lot.

you can add stuff like frozen vegetables, or cubed cheese, or salad dressing. and salt.

edit: this isn't really "authentic" risotto, it doesn't come out perfect. but I'm not a gourmet chef, and I am guessing you probably don't care :D.
