blah.
I feel like shit.
Not that I'm sick, or pmsing, or migraining, or stressed (well, maybe a little of number four), but I just feel like shit.
I have, lately- no idea why, no real reason. Probably because I'm not going hom for the holidays, because my really good friend, my flatmate, Rachel, is leaving for good from scotland on saturday, and I'm just kinda bummed. It's nice that I've made a couple of nice groups of friends- some of whom are actually my age/year group, which is great, considering I came here with no expectations of making friends-- I'm leaving in a year, what's the point of trying?
I guess it's one of those things you don't have to try for.
Speaking of which, I had a really nice time out with said people last night- we went dancing at this club, which was holding its infamous ShagTag. Now, Shagtag works this way- you go in, get a number, and then spend the evening checking this board thing to see if anyone has written any comments to you (via the number) on the board. I lost my number within five minutes of going in that place (oh, snap.) but it was fun anyway. A lot of people.
Highlight? Having one of the archery boys asking us girls if we thought he came off as gay (well, he dresses well, dances well, is sssensssitive (if you get my drift_drift), and is generally baby-faced/effeminent/high-voiced, etc.)so, yeah-- maybe a little. It's not like it's a BAD thing, we assured him.
A little while later, a drunk texan decides to introduce herself to us-- she was wicked funny-- and yeah, she points to him and says, 'heeeey... you're gay, aren't you? Give me a hug!' (she was the huggy type). So funny. He flipped us off (we were nearly on the floor laughing) as she gave him a huge drunk hug.
Good times.
One more exam, only one more to go. Gaelic. I can do this.
But first, I need to go mail a box and buy a new phonecard.
Arrrg.
anyway. I feel shitty. I need a shower. I need a hug.
