1. I do try to look at things from an Atheist standpoint. It's a depressing look at the world, I think. 2. If you are looking for proof, then you are saying you expect God to bow down to you. Don't look for proof, look for signs and truth.
Like signs of Jesus burnt into my toast? Fuck that! What's depressing is all of the oppression that religion promotes. That's fucking depressing. We don't expect God to bow down to us. Seeing as how there isn't a God, we don't expect him to do much of anything, especially since he sure hasn't done anything before.
Man, you just don't get what it's like to go through terrible, horrible things and pray to "God" every night for them stop, but they never do. I see these victims everyday. If their requests aren't good enough for God, then God can go fuck himself.
Well, to me, Christianity is hatred and bigotry. But I'm not gonna sit here and debate this with you because your complete disregard of anything logical or reasonable is just wrong.
Well, all I'm saying is that Hatred is a bad example. I remember when you were a really nice guy to me. Now, you seem to have so much negativity. I wasn't arguing I was expressing extreme shock at the depth of your anger.
Well, I am angry at Christianity and I have plenty right and reason to be.
I remember when you guys used to at least make an effort to talk to me. I also remember helping your band out and getting yall on most of the shows yall played. Then I remember you guys not giving a fuck about me, my band, or anything else about Corpus. Shit, I remember sticking my neck out and defending you guys on stage. That was a simpler time I suppose.
I have never shared in this love for a scene that you seem to have. I don't have a problem with you, I just don't want to be part of a scene, a local image or anything. I want to be really good at what I do, and that's play guitar. I want as many people as possible have thier lives improved by what I do. I don't have anything against you, and have never done anything to represent that.
If you don't care about or love this scene, then you shouldn't play in or contribute to it. People like me came in when this scene was dead and we all helped build it to be something that was cool to be a part of. Now people like you who have never done anything to imporve the quality of it just sit on the sidelines and bitch about it. Well, it won't be me giving you shows. I've done everything I can to help you guys, but when you talk bad about this place and this scene, then you're talking about something you'll never understand, something that I have put my heart and soul into.
