Oh my Lord, what a day. I got into an accident during my lunch break. I was going across a bridge that spans I-5 near where I work. The lady in front of me stopped suddenly, so I slammed on my brakes and stopped in time, but the guy behind me wasn't paying attention and hit me hard enough that I was pushed forward into the car in front of me. I was sandwiched in between the two. The car in front of me was barely damaged, but the the SUV that hit me did some damage to my car. Everyone was fine, but I don't know if I'm going to be able to keep my car. There's some bad damage to the body of the car. It runs still, in fact it was fine going all the way from Tumwater to Shelton, but the body of the car is kind of warped in places. You can barely get out of the driver's side door.
I'm physically fine and everything, and the accident itself wasn't at all traumatizing, but I'm really having trouble with the thought of having to give up my car. I have gotten way too attached to my Saab, and it's killing me that it's time might be up. It runs perfectly, and everything works wonderfully, but it might cost more to fix than the car is worth. His name is Bjorn. He is a 1986 Saab 900-S, dark blue, two-door hatchback. It's hard to describe how much I want to keep this car.
BTW, congrats on the job, Christina. When do you start? I'll come by and make fun of you.
