I have no problem with the pacing of the story. I think the way you've done it is right. I'd rather watch Luke confused about his feelings for both Reid and Noah then to have him make a decision he might regret later. And by reading your comments, we will get to see that. And I couldn't agree more with what you said about Luke. He's role model for relationships, his parents, is crap. And it's no wonder he makes the decisions he makes. Like on the show, staying and putting up with Noah's shit longer than he should've. While others would've packed up and left, Luke stayed and tried to fight the good fight. And with Ameera, I think Luke's discovery of what a real relationship should be like and what love is will be interesting to read. I think he needs to know that before he and Reid can be together. So, what my long drawn out comment is meant to say, is I agree with everything you've said. :D As for the chapter, it does make heart sad that even though they do have feelings for each other, neither of them are willing to act on it. Nice ramble! Of COURSE we want them together right now - we're the readers! We love LuRe! But I know that we have to wait, and I understand why you're doing it. The angst is killing me, but it's such a great build up for whatever will come in the future. It's your story, you know the way you need it to go, so go that way...don't worry about us! Wall shove for the win! Nice that it brought some kissage, since their sexual tension was crackling on the show whenever they shoved each other.

I like the way you're planning out this story. I agree with you that Luke's not quite ready to be with Reid, due to Noah and everything else. I also like to think that Reid would never cheat or a be a cheater, so I understand his reluctance to engage with Luke.

Looking forward to the next chapter; this is great stuff!

Thanks! I like to think that about Reid too, especially since on the show he never made a move on Luke until Luke was single, even though, as he stated and as was fairly obvious, he had feelings for him since the second or third time he laid eyes on him.

I am with you on this journey whereever it goes and however long it takes. I have loved it so far. I trust the author :) Don't get me wrong I wouldn't have complained if Reid had taken him right then and there, but... I understand. LOL

I also have no problem with the pacing of the story. It's beautifully done. I love seeing Luke and Reid getting to know each other better, building some trust. And Luke, as you say, has a lot to sort out in his life right now.
